As we’ve continued to selectively breed Pound Dawg throughout the F4 and F5 generations, we’ve placed a heavy focus on trichome density and terpene profile. As a result, Pound Dawg is now one of the frostiest, terpiest, densest, most stress resistant autoflower strains available anywhere. We’ve taken a bit of a detour away from the purple phenotypes, to heavily reinforce the frost and terpene profiles that we love. Now that we’ve solidified those traits, we’re shifting back to purple-only phenotypes for upcoming generations!
Pound Dawg F5 is a strain that was created to be the ultimate stress resistant Autoflower varietal. Through multiple large scale hunts, we selected phenotypes that were capable of producing huge colas, even when put through multiple types of stress.
This strain has gone through trials of being transplanted and topped multiple times, and has been pushed to the most extreme limits of heat and cold, high nutrient loads and underfeeding. After everything thats been done to Pound Dawg, it always emerges as Mutant Genetics’ superhero of autoflowers.
The lineage is a cross between a beautifully purple, high yielding phenotype of Anvil from Gnome Automatics, and very terpy pheno of Northern Hog from T.H.Seeds (that was also a great producer).
The yields have consistently topped 1 lb of trimmed flower per plant when planted in a 15 gallon pot of soil or direct in the ground, which is how it ended up getting its name. It also does great in smaller containers, out-yielding almost all of our other strains when run side by side.
Terpene profiles are a sharp, spicy mix of fresh cracked black pepper, burnt tires, orange peels and what can really only be described as a cologne-like aroma.
This strain is awesome for new growers, or experienced growers that are new to autoflowers and might be scared of stress-induced early flowering. It’s also a great strain for experienced autoflower growers to break personal yield records and get some awesome flower at the same time!
Pound Dawg F5 does take a little longer finish at 80-85 days.

Da Grow Down (verified owner) –
Heard great things about Speedrun so I looked for a heavy yielder for my second grow. This thing was awesome. Germinated a huge taproot very fast. I made some minor rookie mistakes or topping about a week too late and possibly defoliating too often. Even with all those things I still managed to get 1/4 pound out of her. And the smoke is awesome. Very hungry and happy. This run I just started is including the Sour Blackcherry Haze and I’m super excited. Speedrun with every run now.

Fantastic. I put this plant through hell and it still yielded over a half pound in a 3 gallon pot. Tastes and smells amazing, with photo period level frost and terps

So my pound dawg f5 grew beautiful. Had a blue black hue to the top colas. The bud structure was less stigmas and large bracts a novice might think they had seeds how swollen they were. Fuel cologne smell. It’s made fantastic rosin
I’m growing haze beast and super chonk now to see some of its children
